A Memoir
This memoir is the story of my double life. It begins with my initiation into the strip club industry at the age of 16, and it details what I learned about being a woman in a place that conditions you to be exactly what society teaches you you’re not.
In its pages, I explore key relationships with my immediate family, the cousin who groomed me, the dancers who supported me, and the men who paid me, along the way. I dive deep into the dark pockets of sexual abuse, suicide, and drug use, as well as those things that saved me: my love for dance and the arts.
